Illuminati by Alice Gerstenberg
A witty and surprisingly modern comedy about friendship, ambition, and the shifting dynamics between women. When members of an exclusive literary club gather, hidden rivalries and unspoken truths emerge, revealing that the brightest minds can also cast the longest shadows.
A Matter of Husbands by Ferenc Molnár
This sparkling comedy of manners begins when a suspicious wife seeks advice from a celebrated actress about her husband's possible infidelity. Clever twists, mistaken assumptions, and sharp dialogue make this classic one-act a delightful battle of wit and perception.
A Marriage Has Been Arranged by Alfred Sutro
A newly married aristocratic couple, strangers until their wedding day, meet for the first time after the ceremony. What begins as a formal and awkward encounter gradually unfolds into a charming exploration of expectations, honesty, and unexpected affection.
A Lesson in Mistaken Identity by Charlie Vana
A fast-paced farce where assumptions, misunderstandings, and mistaken identities collide. As characters scramble to untangle a web of confusion, the results are hilarious, unpredictable, and delightfully theatrical.
Le Femme Shakespeare by Talia Pura
What if Shakespeare's greatest women took control of their own stories? This clever and imaginative comedy reexamines familiar characters through a contemporary lens, giving voice to the women often overshadowed in the Bard's works.
Together, these five one-act plays showcase comedy, romance, social satire, mistaken identities, and timeless questions about human relationships—proving that great stories don't need a long running time to leave a lasting impression.
A Living History Fundraiser Experience
What kind of place is Silver City -
and who gets to decide?
Step into an immersive evening where history is not remembered quietly... it speaks, argues, and challenges you. Meet the voices who shaped the spirit of the region:
Billy the Kid - outlaw, survivor, legend
Ben Lilly - hunter, tracker, man of the wild
Theora Ailman - builder of culture and community Madam Millie - businesswoman, observer of human nature
Pluma — warrior, protector, voice of the land
These five figures do not agree. They never did. Through live performance, direct audience interaction, and a dynamic on-stage exchange, you will witness a collision of worldviews: Civilization. Survival. Land. Power. Truth. And in the end, one question remains:What kind of town will you choose to build?

About the Show
Hosted by Jamie Charleston, this weekly radio comedy takes a smart, affectionate look at life in Silver City and Grant County. Through conversations, sketches, and satirical bits performed with local actors and guests, the show pokes gentle fun at the quirks, contradictions, and shared stories that make this place what it is. Nothing is sacred—but everything comes from a place of curiosity, care, and community. It’s a chance to laugh at ourselves, listen a little closer, and recognize the humor in living together in a small town with a very long memory.

The Last Angry Brown Hat
by
Alfredo Ramos
Coming September 2026
Founded in Los Angeles in the late 1960s, the Brown Berets were an influential community-based social justice
organization which played a leading role in the Chicano Civil Rights Movement of the '60s and '70s, with history in Silver City.
Willie, JoJo, Louie, and Rude Boy all previously part of the movement, return to their hometown 25 years later for the funeral of a friend, and past member of The Brown Berets. Willie initiates a night of memories and conversations of the “old days”. As the night progresses, the different paths their lives have taken become obvious. It is a night that will reveal the realities of the present and speculation on a future that is yet to come. Will these personal revelations break them apart or only strengthen their bond further?
