Celebrate Beautiful Language On A Spring Day!

Celebrate Classical Verse and Spring in the Big Ditch We are celebrating classical dramatic verse from 3 influential playwrights and poets: Shakespeare, Lope de Vega, and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz -- representing artists from England, Spain, and Mexico of the 1600s who remain powerful and timely today.


Audition Announcement / Call for Artists Our courageous director, Hallie Harris, is looking for actors, musicians, and performers of all stripes to join our celebration of classical dramatic verse in the Big Ditch park. Please join our information session/auditions this Thursday from 5-6pm at Javalina

or email Hallie Harris at hallarious.improv@gmail.com by Monday, April 3. We'll be celebrating the work of William Shakespeare, Lope De Vega and Sor Juana in English and Spanish. If you have a monologue, song, or sonnet you'd like to dust off and perform to help us celebrate spring and beautiful language or if you'd like to learn something new please join us. Performance dates will be Friday-Monday evenings April 28-May 1. We'll be meeting together once a week in April and rehearsing alone or in small groups.


Join the Production Team to create a festive environment.

In addition to performers we're looking for a stage manager (or apprentice,) social media assistant, and designers to create a festive environment. If you haven't participated in these roles before but are interested, please reach out! We are dedicated to education and inclusion.
