Join us for a light-hearted collection of short pieces from perhaps the most produced playwright of the English language: William Shakespeare. A fearless group of creators bring Ditch-Speare to the public this weekend to celebrate May Day through classic monologues, music, and silliness.
Running one weekend only with showtimes at 7pm Friday, both a 2pm and a 7pm show on Saturday, and 6pm shows on Sunday and Monday in Lions Park in the Big Ditch north of Main Street Plaza. Admission is free—although donations are appreciated. "The actors will pass the hat during the show so don’t hurt their feelings by holding out! Bring cash!” director Hallie Harris jokes. “However, be prepared to hang out in the great outdoors,” she adds, “Bring your own chairs, sunscreen, and bug spray. Although the forecast calls for beautiful weather.”
